I’m a day late posting this too, but deal with it!

Day two of the A to Zs of a Small Town SAHM expresses one if the many aspects of my job that I am so in love with.

Baseball.

But not literally playing baseball or even watching baseball. In this case, baseball is symbolic for freedom and flexibility.

Because I am not in the 9-to-5 swing, yesterday we were able to load up the car and head to the cities to watch the Minnesota Twins home opener.

The little dude LOVED watching the baseball game.

And we loved having the chance to bring him and make some great family memories.

Everyday (pretty much) I have this flexibility to fill our schedule with field trips, walks around the neighborhood, and playtimes at the park.

Or the freedom to plan and do absolutely nothing at all.

I’m so grateful for the baseball aspect of our life. And that every once in a while we can hang the gone fishin’ sign on the door without an ounce of guilt.

Something we all should be able to do from time to time.
