If you’re like me and getting sick of singing the same ol’ songs to your little one then I have a pretty sweet solution.

I was just talking to a friend and fellow momma about how you get children’s songs stuck in your head and can’t them out, but on the other hand we cannot remember all the words to some of the fun kids songs we used to sing when we were young.

I mean, honestly, how many more times can you stand singing the ABCs or Itsy Bitsy Spider every day?

Well, I was pretty psyched to learn about an app for kids called KidloLand

This app has 215+ rhymes and songs and more than 100 different activities for kids. And if you subscribe all of the rhyme and song packs are available to you, which is why I am glad I have a subscription!

Here’s what I love about KidloLand

I know everyone is all like AHHHH you suck as a parent if you let your kids have any screen time at all. No TV, no cartoons, no games NOTHING! Otherwise your kid’s brain will turn to mush and run out of their ears while they sleep. Whatever, I’m not scared. Plus, there are more ways to use this app then if you were to just plop you child in front of it. Which is exactly what makes it great!

1. This app can grow with your kids…

I have a 7-month old. Okay, he does not know how to play on a phone or tablet yet and does not sit in front of a TV for long. This app is still great, even for him! There are so many songs and videos on here, I just pull up the app and play songs for him.

As your little ones get older the videos are entertaining but also interactive. The app has many ways to interact while the video is playing such as clicking on the cartoons in the video making them dance, sing, or make noises. This is what makes the app stand out from just watching cartoons on TV or videos on YouTube.

A musical game on the app highlights the different colored petals on the flower to teach kids how to play different songs.

2. You can use the app offline…

This is great for when you are away from home and needing a little variety to entertain your little one. I mean my family is a 4-hour drive from us so this app would be great for music and entertainment to mix things up on the long drive. This is also perfect if you have older kids and need something to entertain the younger ones while at a game or event.

Best part of it is, you can download any or all of the songs to listen to without sucking up all of your data. (We are terrible with this already with all the games and social media we use when we are away from wifi, yikes)

There is even a tab on the app where you can go to see all the songs you downloaded to play only downloaded content.

3. Great Music and Graphics….

I am always weary of apps with so many on the market these days, but when I opened KidloLand I was really impressed with the quality of the graphics and videos. The cartoons were really cute, like really cute. If you don’t believe me, just look at this:

And the music is really my favorite. You got your classic nursery rhymes which are always great. But, they have so many different songs, too. I especially love all the alphabet songs and bonus, they have the words along the bottom so you can sing along  with all the catchy tunes. I loved being able to add a little variety at music time with Harrison!

I could go on and on all day, but I think there will be other great features that stand out to families in different families. I have a young kid but this app is something any pre school child can enjoy. I think this is something you should try and I bet you will agree with me.

Pretty cool that it works off-line. We sometimes allow phones in the car but they have a fit if they can watch their YouTube vids. (Taylor Swift, ya know.) This would be a good distraction and entertaining for them.
